Eligibility Criteria: 

Must be an African-based provider or service: The nominee should be a network provider or service operating in Africa. They should have a significant presence and operations in the region, working to deliver reliable and accessible internet connectivity to communities and individuals.

Must demonstrate a commitment to accessibility: The nominee should demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring connectivity for all, particularly in areas where demand has never been higher, and broadband has become a lifeline for access to education and economic activity. They should focus on providing services in underserved areas, including remote or rural regions, where connectivity challenges are prevalent.

Must have made significant investments to broadband infrastructure: The nominee should have made significant investments in broadband infrastructure development and expansion. They should have implemented strategies and initiatives to improve network coverage, capacity, and reliability, enabling widespread internet access and bridging the digital divide.

Must demonstrate innovation & adaptability: The nominee should showcase innovation and adaptability in their approach to providing connectivity. They should have introduced novel technologies, business models, or strategies that have enabled them to overcome challenges and deliver connectivity solutions tailored to the needs of diverse African communities and environments.

Must demonstrate an impact on education & economic activity: The nominee's efforts should have made a tangible impact on education and economic activity in the regions they serve. Their connectivity initiatives should have facilitated access to online educational resources, e-learning platforms, vocational training, entrepreneurial opportunities, digital marketplaces, or other forms of economic and educational empowerment.
