Eligibility Criteria: 

Must be an African-based Start-Up: The start-up must be based in Africa OR have a significant presence and operational base within Africa.

Must be in Early-Stage Status: The start-up should be in the early stages of its development, typically characterized by being within the first five years of operation. It should still be in the process of scaling its business and demonstrating growth potential.

Demonstrate technological Innovation: The start-up must showcase a high level of technological innovation as a core aspect of its business. This can include the development of new products, services, or technologies, as well as the application of existing technologies in a novel and impactful way. 

Showcase Impact Potential: The start-up should demonstrate the potential for significant impact in its respective industry or sector, as well as broader socio-economic impact within Africa. This can be through job creation, addressing local challenges, fostering economic development, or driving positive social change.
